Natural Herbal Remedies for Jaundice Treatment
Herbal Remedies for Hepatitis With Jaundice
Jaundinil is a herbal capsule to get rid of any of your liver concerns. Jaundinil’s natural formulation composed of potent herbs assures you an escape from conditions like jaundice, hepatitis, and other liver concerns.
A powerful combination of extensively studied liver correcting and restoring herbs for the ailing liver. Jaundinil stimulates the liver to produce more bile, the excretion of which relieves congestion of the liver and the tissues which have become defunct start functioning again. It revives the cells which have become atrophied, improves appetite, digestion and promotes weight gain.
The aggravation of three doshas Vata, Pitta and Kapha leads to these kind of diseases. A malfunctioning of the liver may not become apparent immediately, unless, the blood flow through it is impeded or the bile ducts are obstructed. Nor does it recover quickly once a disorder lodges itself in the organ. Damage of this organ may, therefore, lead to chronic gastritis, morning sickness and constipation. Apart from loss of appetite, the patient loses weight because of defective metabolism and he may suffer from diarrhoea and flatulence. Jaundinil is an excellent Herbal medicine for the treatment of Hepatitis, Jaundice, Cirrhosis, fatty liver and other liver disorders.

Bilirubin is the chemical that remains in the blood after the iron has been removed from the hemoglobin (the blood chemical in red blood cells that contains iron, and carries oxygen) in the blood. High levels of bilirubin causes jaundice. When jaundice is mild, the skin and white of the eyes take on a yellow color. If the level of bilirubin is extremely high, the skin and white of the eyes can even turn brown. Jaundice is not a disease, but it can be a sign of a disease.
One of the liver’s functions is to remove waste from the blood, and bilirubin is a waste product. The liver removes bilirubin from the blood.
Babies often have jaundice, because their livers are immature and do not work fast enough, or efficiently enough, to remove the bilirubin from the blood.
Jaundice occurs when so much bilirubin is being produced that the liver can’t remove it all. Hemolytic Anemia causes too much bilirubin for the liver to remove. Jaundice can occur when a defect in the liver prevents bilirubin from being removed from the blood, the bile ducts become blocked (by things such as inflammation, due to an infectious disease such as Malaria or Infectious Hepatitis, cancer, or gallstones) and the flow of bile and bilirubin from the liver into the intestines is decreased.
Home Remedies For Jaundice:
The most common liver disorder is jaundice. Here the skin and mucus membranes become discolored and take on the yellowish hue. This yellow color is due to the presence of the excess of a bile pigment called bilirubin in the blood. Liver produces bile, which is necessary for proper digestion and ensures good nutrition. It has a favourable influence on the general digestive processes. It prevents the decaying of food. If the bile cannot enter the intestines, the gases and other toxic products are produced. But your body ensures that the bile and its flow is constant.
Jaundice occurs in 3 forms. Haemolyptic jaundice is due to the excessive destruction of red blood cells, thus causing increased formation of bilirubin and anaemia. Obstruction jaundice occurs when the pathway between the site of conjugation of bilirubin in the liver cells and the entry of bile in the duodenum is blocked. Hepatocellular jaundice results from the damage o the liver cells either by viral infection or by toxic drugs. Yellow discoloration of the skin and the whites of the eyes is the marked symptom of all the 3 types of jaundice. Usually, old people tend to suffer more from obstructive jaundice which is the most common problem associated with hepatobiliary diseases.
- Extreme weakness
- Loss of appetite
- Undue fatigue
- Severe constipation
- Yellow colouration of the eyes, tongue, skin and urine
- Intense itching in obstructive jaundice
- Malfunctioning of liver due to the obstruction of the bile ducts, which are responsible for discharging bile salts and pigment into the intestine. This bile is then mixed with the blood and thus gives the skin the yellow hue.
- Gall-stones in old age can pass into the common duct and cause the jaundice
- Hepatitis which is the inflammation of the liver, caused by a virus. It can spread, leading to epidemics due to overcrowding, dirty surroundings, insanitary conditions and contamination of the food and water.
- Pernicious anaemia
- Diseases affecting the liver like thyroid, malaria, yellow fever and tuberculosis
- Acute cholecystitis
Foods that should be avoided

Jaundinil is indigenous Ayurvedic medicine for viral hepatitis, jaundice, cirrhosis and liver disorders. It is used in the treatment of the following diseases:
- Viral Hepatitis
- Cirrhosis of Liver
- Alcohol/Drugs Induced Hepatitis
- Fatty Liver
- Sluggish/Swollen Liver
- Excessive Gaseous Distension
Viral hepatitis is liver inflammation due to a viral infection.
Many illnesses and conditions can cause inflammation of the liver, for example, contaminated food/water, drugs, alcohol, chemicals, etc. The liver performs many important functions which keep our bodies healthy, and when the liver is inflamed, it is unable to function properly, which leads to problems. The most common causes of viral hepatitis are five viruses: Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Hepatitis D, and Hepatitis E. In addition to the hepatitis viruses, other viruses that can cause hepatitis include herpes simplex, cytomegalovirus, Epstein-Barr virus, and yellow fever. Typical signs and symptoms of hepatitis include jaundice (yellow discoloration of the skin and sclera of the eyes), anorexia (loss of appetite), an enlarged, tender liver (hepatomegaly), abdominal pain and tenderness, nausea and vomiting, fever, and weight loss.
Hepatitis A virus can spread through the ingestion of contaminated food or water, especially where unsanitary conditions allow water or food to become contaminated by human waste containing hepatitis A (the fecal-oral mode of transmission). Hepatitis A typically is spread among household members and close contacts through the passage of oral secretions (intimate kissing) or stool (poor hand washing). It also is common to have the infection spread to customers in restaurants and among children and workers in day care centers if hand washing and sanitary precautions are not observed.
Hepatitis B can spread by sexual contact, the transfer of blood or serum through shared needles in drug abusers, accidental needle sticks with needles contaminated with infected blood, blood transfusions, hemodialysis, and by infected mothers to their newborns. The infection also can be spread by tattooing, body piercing, and sharing razors and toothbrushes (if there is contamination with infected blood). Patients with chronic hepatitis B infection also are at risk of developing cirrhosis, liver failure and liver cancer.
Hepatitis C virus usually is spread by shared needles among drug abusers, blood transfusions, hemodialysis, and needle sticks. Patients with chronic hepatitis C infection are at risk for developing cirrhosis, liver failure, and liver cancer.
Hepatitis D can propagate only in the presence of the hepatitis B virus. Transmission of hepatitis D can occur either via simultaneous infection with hepatitis B (coinfection) or via infection of an individual previously infected with hepatitis B (superinfection). Both coinfection and superinfection result in more severe complications as compared to infection with hepatitis B alone. These complications include a greater likelihood of experiencing liver failure in acute infections and a rapid progression to liver cirrhosis, with an increased chance of developing liver cancer in chronic infections.
Hepatitis E virus can spread through the ingestion of contaminated food or water, especially where unsanitary conditions allow water or food to become contaminated by human waste containing the virus. Infection with this virus was first documented in 1955 during an outbreak in New Delhi, India. Consumption of contaminated drinking water has given rise to epidemics, and the ingestion of raw or uncooked shellfish has been the source of sporadic cases in endemic areas. There is a possibility of zoonotic spread of the virus, since several non-human primates, pigs, cows, sheep, goats and rodents are susceptible to infection. Hepatitis E is prevalent in most developing countries, and common in any country with a hot climate. It is widespread in Southeast Asia, northern and central Africa, India, and Central America.
Jaundice is the yellowish staining of the skin and sclerae (the whites of the eyes) that is caused by high levels of the chemical bilirubin in the blood. Bilirubin comes from red blood cells. When red blood cells get old, they are destroyed. Hemoglobin, the iron-containing chemical in red blood cells that carries oxygen, is released from the destroyed red blood cells after the iron it contains is removed. The chemical that remains in the blood after the iron is removed becomes bilirubin.
Cirrhosis of Liver
Cirrhosis is a consequence of chronic liver disease and is characterized by an abnormal liver structure.
Cirrhosis is most commonly caused by alcoholism, hepatitis B and C, and fatty liver disease, but it has many other possible causes. The diseases that lead to cirrhosis injure and kill liver cells and the inflammation and repair that is associated with the dying liver cells causes scar tissue to form. The liver cells that do not die multiply in an attempt to replace the cells that have died. This results in clusters of newly-formed liver cells (regenerative nodules) within the scar tissue.
Some of the common symptoms and signs of cirrhosis include:
- Yellowing of the skin (jaundice) due to the accumulation of bilirubin in the blood
- Loss of appetite
- Frequent bruising from decreased production of blood clotting factors by the diseased liver.
Alcohol/Drugs Induced Hepatitis
Alcoholic hepatitis is due to excessive intake of alcohol.
Symptoms are jaundice, ascites (fluid accumulation in the abdominal cavity), fatigue and hepatic encephalopathy (brain dysfunction due to liver failure). Alcoholic hepatitis can vary from mild with only liver enzyme elevation to severe liver inflammation with development of jaundice, prolonged prothrombin time, and even liver failure.
Drugs induced hepatitis is caused by intake of certain drugs or chemicals. Certain medicinal agents, when taken in excess and sometimes even when introduced within therapeutic ranges, may injure the organ. Other chemical agents, such as those used in laboratories and industries can also cause liver damage.
Alcoholic hepatitis is due to excessive intake of alcohol.
Fatty liver, also known as fatty liver disease (FLD) is a reversible condition where large vacuoles of triglyceride fat accumulate in liver cells via the process of abnormal retention of lipids within a cell. Despite having multiple causes, fatty liver can be considered a single disease that occurs worldwide in those with excessive alcohol intake and those who are obese (with or without effects of insulin resistance). The condition is also associated with other diseases that influence fat metabolism.
Accumulation of fat may also be accompanied by a progressive inflammation of the liver (hepatitis). By considering the contribution by alcohol, fatty liver may be termed alcoholic or non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.
The most common cause of enlarged liver is an accumulation of fat in the liver.
The collection of fat in the liver can be a result of obesity and diabetes. However, it is not at all necessary that every overweight person will develop enlarged liver problems. Other causes of enlarged liver are viral infection like hepatitis A, hepatitis B or hepatitis C, iron deposits in the liver, and heavy consumption of alcohol. Serious ailments like diabetes, tuberculosis, liver cancer, congestive heart failure or leukemia and an inadequate diet or side effects of some drugs are other factors that can lead to enlarged liver.
Enlarged liver is often referred to as hepatomegaly. When the liver becomes excessively large, pain is experienced when the abdomen is touched. Some discomfort arises when the liver puts pressure on the surrounding organs and nerves due to enlargement. When the liver stops functioning normally due to its enlarged state, it can lead to jaundice.
Excessive accumulation of fat within the liver cells due to alcoholism, obesity, diabetes, drugs (like corticosteroids, tetracycline and aspirin) or elevated serum triglyceride levels can lead to sluggish liver function. Other cause for sluggish liver function is intrahepatic problems which occur due to over-exposure to food additives, solvents (cleaning materials, formaldehyde, toluene, benzene, etc.), heavy metals (lead, mercury, cadmium, arsenic, nickel, and aluminum), and other toxins. Viral infections of the liver, hyperthyroidism, consumption of anabolic steroids/estrogens/oral contraceptives are some other factors that can restrict the bile flow in the liver and cause impaired liver function. Lack of physical activities, poor diet, aging, etc., are some other common causes for sluggish liver function.
Anorexia refers to a lack or loss of appetite, resulting in the inability to eat.
The condition may result from poorly prepared food or surroundings, unfavourable company, or various physical and psychological causes. The liver disorders such as hepatitis, sluggish liver, etc. also lead to anorexia.
Dyspepsia, also known as upset stomach or indigestion, refers to a condition of impaired digestion.
It is a medical condition characterized by chronic or recurrent pain in the upper abdomen, upper abdominal fullness and feeling full earlier than expected when eating. It can be accompanied by bloating, belching, nausea, or heartburn. Dyspepsia is a common problem, and is frequently due to gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD) or gastritis. Liver disorders, such as hepatitis, cirrhosis, etc., also lead to dyspepsia.
Flatulence is the expulsion through the rectum of a mixture of gases that are by-products of the digestion process of human beings. The mixture of gases is known as flatus in medical speak, informally as a fart, or simply gas, and is expelled from the rectum in a process colloquially referred to as “passing gas”, “breaking wind” or “farting”. There are many reasons for flatulence. Some people with liver disease complain of increased gas production (flatulence), abdominal bloating, and abdominal distension. These symptoms may stem from mal-absorption (impaired absorption) and/or mal-digestion (impaired digestion) of certain nutrients by the body. These symptoms are especially likely to occur in people with alcoholic liver disease and cirrhosis.

My daughter had developed severe jaundice – hence was always very sick. I tried several pills and treatments but nothing seemed to help. Infact, the puking had worsened over time. I desperately wanted my daughter fit and healthy soon. I started with Jaundinil treatment after browsing through the net. I am so grateful that I came across this website as within days of consuming this herbal pill – my daughter was showing drastic improvements. Thank you so much for renewing my daughter’s life!

Exactly last year, I was diagnosed with having Viral Hepatitis, when I complained of typical symptoms like swelling, poor appetite, eye fatigue, tiredness etc. I was hospitalized for the same for a week or so and during this period I was administered a drug which brought me numerable side effects like high fever, headache, muscle pain etc which later on became quite unbearable. That’s when I approached an herbalist who recommended me Jaundinil – to my amazement this product worked faster and better than all leading synthetic drugs. Then, when I went for a medical test my doc was surprised to see my medical reports as they are quite positive. I thank Jaundinil for granting me a new lease of life…

I was a hardcore alcoholic since the past 25 years. All this took a toll on my liver and I suffered from severe liver damage. I started on some drugs which were recommended by my friend – however they had too many unpleasant side effects and it made me feel completely sick. I started researching on herbal liver pills as I felt – they being natural would be safe to use. True to my belief, I started on this herbal capsule – Jaundinil and what a difference it made to my life. My liver feels renewed and words fall short to describe how much I feel about this herbal capsule – Jaundinil!.

I am mentioning with profound gratitude that your product Jaundinil had played a major role as a life saver after the corporate hospitals had given up treatment when I was suffering from hepato-cellular jaundice with Ascitis and decompensation of liver. My serum bilirubin level went up to as high as 22. The bilirubin after six months of rest diet and allopathic treatment was around 16 (sixteen) and I had become a mere skeleton of my old self. Thereafter I learned about Jaundinil from my son. After 1 month of treatment, my serum bilirubin was a bit above 1 and within 3 months 0.65 which was in normal healthy range.

My father-in-law (Mr. R. J. Chauhan) was suffering from Hepatitis and he had severe nausea and appetite loss. After doing some tests like LFT, it was clear that it was a liver problem. We were given some medicine by the doctor but I suggested that to start with Jaundinil capsule. Within 3 days, he was back to normal.

A couple of years ago, my blood profile showed high levels of liver enzymes like ALT and AST, indication of fatty liver. My doctor told me that there was no medication but for reducing my weight. I heard good things about Kamalahar from my mother-in-law and I decided taking two capsules per day for three months. I was also simultaneously reducing my weight. With the help of Jaundinil, my blood profile became better and brought ALT/AST level down to normal range.
